Dana Bala will present the history of a cloth, clothing and quilts in America. Focusing on the 17th an 18th centuries, Bala will discuss how cloth related to domestic life and how legislation affected the price and production of fabrics. Some items from the Museum’s collection and Bala’s personal collection will be on view.
