Dr. John Petrocelli will present “Dental Changes Through History”, discussing the beliefs and treatment of dental problems from the beginning of recorded history to the present day, especially the marvelous developments in our own lifetime. After the meeting, we will carpool on a mini field trip to the Holcome/Jimison Farmstead to see Dr. Leaver’s dental office that was moved to the museum, intact, from Quakertown. You won’t want to miss seeing his foot-powered drill he used on patients up through 1954 – ouch!
Coffee, tea and goodies served.
Unless otherwise noted, all Friends of the Red Mill programs are free of charge and take place in the upstairs meeting room of the Museum administration building.
