My granddaughter went to the Red Mill on her school trip. She enjoyed it very much! So much so that she wrote me a letter to tell me all about everything she saw and did while there. It’s so important for places like the mill to be available for tours to teach our children. She loved the blacksmith, and making a candle. Seeing the inside of the Mill and even learning to be in the Militia! Thank you Red Mill staff for all you do to keep the mill history going!!!
A membership at The Red Mill Museum Village is an amazing value.
It gives you full free access to this wonderful historic site which goes beyond The Red Mill. There are 10 acres of property and 10-12 buildings to explore and learn about life and industry in the area from the early 1800’s.
The membership also allows you to take advantage of the many events they have like; Military Heritage Day, Kids Day, Festival of Trees and more FREE! Other events, like Concerts in the quarry give a discount to members.
Looking for a beautiful or quiet spot to read or have a picnic, no bbq. There are great picnic tables in the quarry just waiting for you. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see the bald eagles roosting or soaring through while you are there.
Plus you get 10% off in the gift shop.
The membership is a great deal, is tax deductible and supports a great historic site.
Born and raised in Clinton and although I have long since moved away, membership in the Red Mill Museum keeps me in touch with idyllic memories of growing up there in the 1940s and ‘50s. Keep up the good work!
Our Family Membership to the Red Mill has been one of the best parts about living in Clinton! We love being able to visit whenever we want and always have so much fun at the special events throughout the year. Kids Day at the Red Mill and the Festival of Trees are some of our favorite activities. The highlight of our year is the Happy Haunts kid-friendly version of the Haunted Red Mill. But our membership isn’t just for the kids! I’ve enjoyed attending the evening walking Ghost Tour and a special Paranormal Investigation. It’s always a treat to bring friends and family with our guest passes; everyone always mentions how they’ve “never been inside the Mill!” It’s time to visit and enjoy one of New Jersey’s very best historical treasures.
Being a member of the Red Mill, the great historic site within beautiful Hunterdon county, is such a benefit. Membership allows you many private opportunities to visit the Mill outside of regular open hours; to have more fully immersed experience in any exhibit.
My best experiences since joining the Red Mill, besides the wonderful friendships with other members and staff, are the hours I’ve spent greeting visitors at the admissions desk. The most interesting people come through our door from all over the world. Without exception, visitors are impressed by the exhibits and the beauty of the area. My volunteer experience here has been one of the highlights of my 90 years.
