2017 Calendar of Events


April 23 - Member’s Day and Annual Meeting featuring a presentation of The Circus Comes to Town by Jim Davidson, expert on the Lindbergh Kidnapping and the Lindbergh family.  Mr. Davidson will be speaking on the many “oddities” that took place in Flemington during the famous trial of suspected-kidnapper Bruno Hauptmann.  Guided tours and blacksmith demonstrations available to all visitors after the meeting.  1:00pm.


April 29 - Ghost and Folklore Tour. Our popular tour is back!  Tour the museum after hours in the dark and hear the stories of the ghosts that are said to haunt our buildings.  Afterwards, enjoy a private viewing of some of the more macabre objects in the museum’s collection.  Not recommended for young children - parental discretion strongly suggested. Cost is $15 for museum members and $20 for non-members.  Tours at 8:00pm and 9:30pm. Space is limited, advance reservations required.  To purchase tickets click here


May 4 - Splash of History Lecture on WWI coming alive through artifacts presented by WWI historian and reenactor Randy Gaulke.  6:30pm.  Refreshments served.  Tickets and details coming soon!


May 6 - Day at the Races - a Kentucky Derby Party to benefit the Red Mill Museum Village and honor our Guardians of History award recipients. At Hawk Pointe Golf Club. 4:00pm.  Test your luck and win prizes with "Win, Place or Show" at the horse race games, and dress it up for our ladies' best hat and men's best race day attire contests.  With music, dancing, mint juleps and plenty to eat, it’s going to be a great night out while supporting the Red Mill Museum Village. It's a Fun-Fundraiser!  For more information click here


May 13 - Concert. American Spirits Roadhouse presents: Little Red Mill Rooster Festival!  Featuring a lineup of rock and blues artists including Mike Devita & the Slick Back Boys, Cosmic Jerry Band, Keith Kenny, CC& the Boys, IDB, Outcrops, Above Ground Blues Band, HollowPoint and Big Bone Daddy.  Tickets $15 presale and $20 at the door. June 4 - British Car Day. Our annual show of favorite antique and collector British cars.  Details coming soon!

June 24 - Two Mills Plein Air, in partnership with Hunterdon Art Museum.  Calling all artists to paint and draw outside - our buildings, the river, the beautiful view of downtown Clinton - whatever inspires you.  Artists of all ability welcome and artists are encouraged to choose their preferred medium.  Be creative!  Reception to follow at Hunterdon Art Museum.  Details coming soon!
