Summer Day Programs
Returning for 2019!
This year we are offering a summer of fun and learning with two fantastic themed day programs offered over three weeks. Both our Nature Program and History Program provide a fun and safe environment for kids to learn through games, hands-on activities and crafts. You will go home will all sorts of treasures!
The program runs from 9:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. Children ages 6-12 are welcome and will be divided into groups by age (6-9 and 10-12). Registration fee for each program week is $260 for museum members and $275 for non-members. Please send your child with a packed lunch. Some snacks will be provided as part of the activities.
Forms and payment can be sent by mail to the Red Mill Museum Village at 56 Main Street, Clinton, NJ 08809 or by email to assistant director Marie Salthouse at email@example.com. If you are registering more than one child, please submit a form for each child. All pages on the registration form must be completed.

Week of June 24-28. This is the perfect program for kids who love to explore and play outside in the dirt! Our beautiful grounds along the South Branch of the Raritan River are the ideal spot for children to learn to observe and form conclusions about nature and the creatures in their world. Children will make their own journal for recording what they learn and try their hand at an archeology dig. By the end of the week each child will know about insects, the food chain, camouflage, pollution, the importance of recycling and more!
Weeks of July 22-26 and August 12-16. Children will step back in time and learn about life long ago right here at our 19th century site. What did kids do for fun before the Internet? How did they make their toys? What was school like? What did they eat? How did people get what they needed? Children will make their own candles, churn butter and ice cream, play old-fashioned games and much more! A live blacksmith demonstration is a highlight of the week.
